    Hi – So, after operating w/ no problems, my latest blog posting did not initiate a mailing or report. I can’t make it work by the rewrite/republish process or shift the post back to draft and republish. Using v 5.3.6 w WP v 5.9.2 … What’s going on?

    We have checked this issue but it looks like it is working fine at our end.

    If you can provide answers to the following queries that will help us to understand the issue better,
    1) Is there any active post notification campaign? Also while publishing the post, did categories were selected as configured in the active campaign?
    2) Is the post is newly created or cloned from the existing post? For a new post, it should work without any issue but for a cloned post, you might need to perform some additional steps to send emails. Let us know if this is the case. We will then share the required steps.

    1) Yes, there was an active campaign with ‘All categories’ selected. And the post had two of those categories.

    2) It was newly created afaik, what are those other steps, though, for me to attempt?

    Hello there,

    Thanks for sharing more information with us.

    When sending notifications, the plugin sets a custom field ig_es_is_post_notified into the post. This custom field is used to avoid duplicate emails when the post is republished next time.

    We suspect that the post for which reports are created, might have ig_es_is_post_notified custom field set.

    Can you please check if this is the case at your end? You can refer to this doc on how to check for custom fields.
