• I added a registration date to my report.
And then later removed it because it didn’t sort.
Then I added ID and set it to the first column.

I added in another field at the end of the report – but it doesn’t show up. I then added registration date back in.

It looks like the fields are cross linked or something.
I set registration date as the first column. And Mac Address data appears in the registration date column. I’m still missing one column.

Hmm – usually ‘out of sync ness’ this is because one has custom headings set and gets confusing – eg reg date ends up with ‘id’ in it etc – try resetting or blowing those away.

also remember to always rebuild cache – fields won’t show till that has happened.

I’ll keep an eye out for anything weird meanwhile.

I’ve tried resetting and I’ve tried rebuilding the cache.

I deactivated, removed and reinstalled. It appears that you don’t clean up the data.

What is the process for “blowing away”?

Garry I’ve just run through it all and the only way I could get columns to mismatch with data is if I hit update on headings so I had custom headings saved, then reconfigured fields so they no longer matched headings.

To correct/blow away, click reset headings, then rebuild cache to be sure.

If you don’t have funky multi field columns (very few do) then rather leave the custom headings and just use the ‘nice names’ for the fields.

I’ve added some notes to this effect to help folks.

Most of the config screens have ‘reset options’ to get back to default settings.
