repointed url – headers and navigation settings didn't stick

hey all…

there’s something i’m not doing right. i remember this happening the last time i repointed a project from a dev site to www. i’ve changed config files and urls, and have got it mostly working, but the header and the menu settings did not stick for some reason. i can go in and re-upload and redefine them in the admin like i did the last time, but it seems like this should have just worked…?
