I allow anyone to post to a comment. As my site is currently configured are they alerted if I reply on it? (I use Mailchimp to manage subscribers who have provided their email address, if that is relevant to answering my question.) Thanks for whatever you can offer.

I recommend asking at Mailchimp’s support forum so its developers and support community can help you with this.

Will do. As this is functionality enabled in WP I wanted to check here first. It’s been my experience that MC invariably refers anything to do with WP functions back to WP. Will give them a shot, though. Thanks.

As I suspected, MC advises this is a question for WP. Again, the question is whether a commenter is alerted (and if so in what way) when I reply to them AS MY SITE IS CURRENTLY CONFIGURED. If not, is a plug-in necessary? If so, what is the recommendation? Anyone?

Upon further investigation it looks like the Comment Reply Email Notification Plugin may be what I need. Will investigate and return to the forum if unsuccessful.
