  • Hi emaya77.,

That is true, because autoresponder is send for client as a client you have received the email (because you fill_in Recipient Email w/ %your.email_slug%), so as a client when you want to reply the email, you will reply it to the sender (this means the owner of the form), that is your self (send to your own email), this is what you fill_in From Email field on autoresponder processors.

So the function actually is working properly, you have just misunderstand it ??

    Hope that help, tq

    Hi
My client is confused by this too – we use thunderbird for email client and when she hits reply-to it says:

    reply-to: sender of the email
    to: recipient email

In Thunderbird the reply-to does not send, so she is in effect replying to herself?! How can we change the to: field when replying to default to the sender of the original email and not the recipient?

    Many thanks

    Kat

Thanks for using Caldera Forms. Just so you know, we check this board very sporadically since we do not offer free support for Caldera Forms. The most effective way to get support for Caldera Forms is to open a support ticket at https://CalderaWP.com/support. Through that form, someone from our team will follow up about this issue within 1 business day.

Please note that to use our support form, you must have an active license for any Caldera Forms add-on (https://calderawp.com/caldera-forms-add-ons/) or a support license (https://calderawp.com/support/#priority-support). Thank you for understanding that this is essential to ensuring that we are able to continue to develop and support great products for you.

I am also having this issue – not sure why this topic is resolved with no resolution.
