Seems we can not change the reply to email to be that of the submitter. When we hit reply it is our admin email….It always has us reply to our own email.

Yes…we have reset the email on the form to be that of the sender as the reply to email using the short drop but still does not fix and sends to us when we hit reply….

    Thoughts?

    Any help here?

    Hello @voicetoons,

    Thanks for writing in.

Normally, the email that will be used when you click on reply would be the email address set in the Reply-To field in the Notification setting. Please check here for more details.

Can you please double-check if you set the Reply-To set up using the Smart Tag of the email address field in the form?

    Thank you.

Thanks…Yes as said we are sure the reply to field is right as the email of the users on the form. That being {field_id=”8″} still when we hit reply it sends to our admin email.

    Hi @voicetoons,

Thanks for clarifying. Most likely, there is a plugin that is overriding the Reply-To configuration in the forms.

When you get the chance, could you please try using the steps in WPBeginner’s detailed guide on troubleshooting WordPress to see if it helps resolve the issue?

    Hi @voicetoons,

We haven’t heard back from you in about a week, so I’m going to go ahead and close this thread for now. But if you’d like us to assist further, please feel welcome to continue the conversation.

    Thanks!
