Reply to comments, goes to junk mail

  • Hi. I just started using the Custom Comments Notifications plugin and it works fine. My only problems is this : The author of an article receives an email notification when someone leaves a comment on on of their articles. This email goes directly through the junk mail. The author also receives an email when someone replies to a comment.
    The person that left the original comment doesn’t get an email notification when someone replies their comment.

    So, here’s what I’m trying to do :
    1. Email notifications not going to junk mail
    2. User who leaves comment gets a notification when a reply to their comment is posted.

    Could you help me out?

  • Re. junk mail, in your email program, try designating the sender (e.g. [email protected]) as a “safe sender” or “not junk”.

    Sending notification to others who have commented is called comment subscription. For that you’ll need another plugin, e.g. Subscribe to Comments Reloaded.
