reply notifications

    can you somehow ‘enable’ reply notifications in this forum? I’m guessing as the number of topics I reply to or create become more in number, that old replies to older content may be missed. I would like to have some email notification to replies. Is that possible?

    If you look just to the right of each thread, you’ll see a “RSS feed for this topic” link which will allow you to subscribe to the topic with any RSS feed reader (like Google Reader) or RSS-to-mail system (like Feed My Inbox).

    The addition of email notifications has been discussed, but I doubt that it will ever be implemented as the demand on the servers for sending email notifications for the thousands of threads added each day with tens of thousands of replies to millions of users would be far too high.

    ok, I saw the icon, but I never thought of rss for a thread notification…. until now…

    You’re welcome!

    You can also click on the “Member” under your name and see a list of all the threads you have posted to and if there are any replies after yours, there is also a list of your “Favorites” so you can keep track of a thread even if you have not posted to it.
