replies and comments dissappeared

When I rearranged the order of the sidebar widgets, I lost all the replies and comments in my side bar Q&A pages. I also on the same day deleted an old programmer and his password from my authorized admin and one of my widgets “Useful Resources” in the side bar dissappeared. I wonder if this may all be connected.
