Replicating Menu in sidebar?

Hi All,

Is there a way to replicate a menu, in a widget, with context to where you are in the site?

Most of the menu plugins will give you the entire menu structure in your widget.

If you take a look at the site I am building for my son’s scout troop (https://www.troop180nj.org) you can see the menu in the theme, which works fine. Then on the sidebar I am using Flexipages, which works great, except that I added a category to my menu (the rest are pages) and Flexipages doesn’t grab categories, only pages.

Using the Menu I developed, I just want to display it, showing just the top-level pages on the home page and the children expanded when on a parent or child page.

I looked a lot of the plugins couldn’t seem to find what I needed. I didn’t think it would be that hard to find something simple like this.
