Replacing WordPress core when recieving error after update
-
Hi all
After updating to 4.4 I am receiving the following error:
Warning: call_user_func_array() expects parameter 1 to be a valid callback, function ‘wp_maybe_load_embeds’ not found or invalid function name in /home/username/public_html/wp-includes/plugin.php on line 503
Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_installing() in /home/username/public_html/wp-includes/l10n.php on line 638
My guess is that the files did not install properly during the update.
If i were to replace the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh install of WordPress 4.4 would I loose any content?
