Replacing with parends causes many, many pareands

    I used this plugin on a site and searched for a word and replaced it with a word and a second parenthetical word.

    e.g.

    Search for: Sport
    Replace with: Super (Sport)

    It worked but later it turned into this on all pages:

    Super (Super (Super (Super (Super (Super (Super (Super (Super (Super (Super (Sport)))))))))))

    So, it seems that each time the page loads it reproduces words in parends and adds them again!

    I could try to do a regex replacement but it seems massively complex to to force a search for more than on instance of the words and parends in each place and then replace it with a single version of the words and parends in each place.
