Replacing template default header with an image

  • I’m currently using the “Kubrick” default theme, which looks and does pretty much everything I want to do.

    Is there an easy way to make a minor customization and replace the default header with a logo image?

    And if I’m able to accomplish this, will this get wiped out the next time I upgrade to the latest WordPress?
