Replacing .htaccess
-
I am moving the wordpres blog to become the main webpage of the site I’m working on. I need both the new blog (we will call the main blog) and the existing side blog to stay functional (they are separate wordpress accounts and the existing blog is in a /blog directory and will remain there). Somehow in the moving of main blog, I realized that the .htaccess had disappeared and I was moving the file for the existing blog.
Though I fixed that problem, now the problem is there is no .htaccess file for main blog and because I had thought I was moving it and so the way of going into the administrative panel and options won’t work because it is now at the wrong URL. So I either need a way to regain access to the blog or the base info to put in a new .htaccess file.
I don’t work in .htaccess so I have no idea what needs to go in the file. Thank you for your help.
