Replacing existing Updraft install with new.

    I have a WooCommerce e-Commerce site that is currently using updraft that was installed by a developer, it is the free version. I am no longer using the developer. If I add a free version of Updraft of my own will the existing data transfer to my own version. And then can I get rid of the account the developer installed, without having problems.

    Hi,

    Yes, you can replace it with the free version but you may lose access to your backup if your developer is using premium features to store your backups. If none, then it is totally fine to replace it.
