Thanks for the info, its helpful.
Suggestion:
Here is a suggestion you can add to your premium plugin version.
The default design of the Attachment Details screen for the WordPress Media library is to use a modal or a popup. This popup is only specific to the image you click and includes settings or details for that image.
The downside to this design is the popup is only for a single image, and you have to close the popup to click another image way down the library list since going image by image using the next button is quite cumbersome and time consuming.
To make image management far easier and efficient, especially with a long list of media categories, is to cause Media Library to open the Attachment Details as a “right-side column” instead.
In that column are the same attachment details for the image and will also show the list of media categories.
The right-side column allows the user to click any image in the library and even scroll the library without having to close the Attachment Details column. It also allows the user to easily assign the media category to images (media), all in one screen, and allows the user to click each media image in sequence or randomly in the library, to see what category assignments were made in one easy glance, all without having to close popups.
The right-side column would also be scrollable.
This feature is superior to the WordPress default popup design and does make media management a breeze.
Hope that helps.
