Replaced images by FTP, need to update Metadata

  • So I replaced over 200 images by FTP and have realised that now the attachment metadata is wrong (wrong dimensions), so WordPress is (for example) serving a 512px image at a width of 640px (by stretching it, presumably).

    I shudder to ask…is there a way to force WordPress to regenerate the Metadata from the original files?
