replaced header image with same name – but is not showing

I created my theme with Artisteer.
I found the header.jpg image in the wp-content/themes/(theme name)/images folder.
I downloaded it, edited it, saved with the same name – header.jpg.
I uploaded it, and it is not showing. I am still seeing the old header with text.

Is there something else I am supposed to do? I don’t see how editing code would matter, since I kept the same file name.
