I need to replace my WordPress Multisite, in order to get rid of malicious code.

In a normal WP installation, I would delete the wp-admin and wp-includes folders as well as all files (except wp-config.php) in root directory and replace those parts with the fresh downloaded version of wordpress.

How would this work with WordPress Multisite?

Sorry to hear that you’ve been hacked!

You would do the same thing with multisite – delete wp-admin & wp-includes, and all files except wp-config.php AND .htaccess.

Since .htaccess is a file that usually can be written to, you might want to carefully compare it to the version that is recommended in Network Admin – Network Setup.
