    Hi,

I’m missing the option not to delete the image, but “replace” it!

    Example:
Two identical pictures have been found.
When deleting one of them it leaves the post or page where it’s used “empty”. This means you have to manually rework every single post or page and add the picture again. When you have a website with hundreds or thousands of picture not a real option.

Instead of deleting one of the images it would be great to replace the path to the image by the path to the image that wasn’t deleted. This would leave the post or page intact, no rework needed ??

    Best regards,
    Oliver

Sounds good, would be great if this would come in the next release! ??

We’ve got behavior like this set for the release we’re hoping to push out next week.

In that release, the system only looks at posts’ “Featured Images,” making sure that if it’s deleted a featured image that a post was pointing to, the post gets updated to point to the preserved version of the image.

It doesn’t, however, go through the body of posts looking for actual URLs, or dig thru shortcodes that have image IDs in them, or anywhere else — just featured images.

I hope that’ll be useful. We’re considering releasing a Pro version that’s more feature-rich, and if we do I would expect that we’ll identify some use-cases like this that it should handle.

Thanks for implementing! This feature is really helpful and makes the plugin for us very useful!

    Hello,

Any ETA for the PRO version?

It should have full compatibility for Woocommerce in order not to disrupt any product.

    Best regards,
