I recently came across Blocksy because I needed to replace my previous theme that hasn’t been updated since 2022-03. Thanks for making the free version so customizable, it was relatively easy to remake my site from scratch look like my old theme.

However, I do need help with one issue. Instead of using the default background color (#FAFBFC) outside the content area how can I use a repeating image. For clarity, refer to my site then compare to last link at the bottom of the sidebar.

    Would appreciate any assistance.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hello @marcmagi

You should be able to use a boxed look for a page’s content and sidebar elements. These can be adjusted via the Customiser -> Pages/Posts and Customiser -> Sidebar sections.

Once you have set these up, you can go into Customiser -> Colours and choose a background image for the site, instead of a colour. There should be controls available, something like this – https://ibb.co/X7N2SCT

These steps should get you close to your desired design.

    Hope this helps!

    Thanks.

Thank you Eduard. So simple yet so elusive. It should have occurred to me to click on the color swatch to get the image option.

No worries, @marcmagi. Glad I could help! ??
