Replace post's feature image with animated gif on mouse hover

    I’m looking for a wait to replace post’s feature image with an animated gif on mouse hover.

    Basically, i’m thinking about an additional box, in post editor page, below featured image that allows post editor to add a GIF that will replace the post’s featured image and play when readers hover mouse over the post’s featured image.

    Any solution or pointer for this ?
