replace payment_method_types with automatic_payment_methods

    The Stripe dashboard is recommending we use automatic_payment_methods so we can manage payment methods from Stripe. I asked how, and Stripe directed me back to WooCommerce for support.

    Full message in Stripe is:

    We’ve detected that you are using payment_method_types to configure payment methods. To manage payment methods from this page, replace payment_method_types with automatic_payment_methods.
    If you prefer to use payment_method_types, refer to the manual settings page.

    How is that achieved with the WooCommerce Stripe plugin?

    Hello,

    Can you temporarily switch your theme to Storefront and then reconnect Stripe by following these instructions:

    https://woocommerce.com/document/stripe/#setup-and-configuration

    After reconnecting, please check if the issue persists, you can perform a test order, to check if it is working correctly.

    Hi Igor,

    Can you explain in more detail why we need to activate Storefront? And reconnect Stripe? The site is functioning fine at the moment.
