Replace Logo in theme

Hi Adz, this depends on what theme you are using.

Im using a theme called alpha theme

The code that i think creates the text logo at the moment is as follows

<h1>“><?php bloginfo(‘name’); ?></h1>

The location of my logo is https://eventindustrynews.co.uk/wp-content/banners/EIN%20Log%20New.JPG

I just cant seem to target it and get it to display

Any ideas?

It will be easier to use that logo if you add it to your theme’s images directory, I’d also remove the spaces in the filename. You could replace that code with this:

<a href="<?php echo get_settings('home'); ?>/"><img src="<?php bloginfo('template_url'); ?>/images/ein-log-new.jpg" alt="<?php bloginfo('name'); ?>" /></a>

Thanks for your help, i have done what you sujested and moved it to the theme / images directory and renamed the file as you have it aboute

I have uploaded the new code and it looks to me as if isnt pulling the logo through still

Make sure that the logo filename and location match the code you are adding.
