• Since the latest WP update, the regular Gutenberg Gallery block has changed. There is no longer a white space between my photos. The GutenBee Gallery block is a great replacement. However, I don’t see a way to replace regular Gutenberg Gallery by the GutenBee Gallery block. When I click the dropdown menu to replace the block, GutenBee Gallery block is not one of the options. Is there a way to add this block to the dropdown menu so I can easily replace the blocks? Right now I don’t see any other way as to create new GutenBee Gallery blocks. I have over 100 posts where I have to do that and it’s very time consuming.

    Another option would be if I could change the Gutenberg Gallery block settings so there is a white space between the photos. But where do I do that?

  • Hi there,

    can you please make sure first this is not a third party custom css or plugin conflict https://www.cssigniter.com/kb/checking-for-plugin-conflicts/

    Can you share a URL where this happens? Do you have the latest GutenBee version?

    Hi

    The link you provided gives me a 404.

    This is one of my posts where you can see the photos have no longer a white space between them. This is the Gutenberg gallery block. Before WP 6.1 there was a white space. https://www.wndln.be/wandeling-drongengoed/

    I’m currently also using the GutenBee plugin and the SimplyGallery plugin across my site. However, like I said, I’d like to replace the Gutenberg gallery blocks with GutenBee gallery blocks. There seems to be no other way for me to do than manually creating new galleries and adding the photos. However, if I’d want to replace the Gutenberg gallery blocks with SimplyGallery blocks, I can just click on the icon on the left hand and select ‘transform to SimplyGallery’. GutenBee is not listed here.

    Thanks for helping!

    Hi there @vseynaeve

    I dont see any GutenBee Galleries in the link you have provided. Can you add this custom css

    .wp-block-gallery.has-nested-images figure.wp-block-image:not(#individual-image){margin-bottom:20px!important;}

    under Customize->Additional CSS to add a margin between these images in your galleries

    Let me know if this helps

    Hello @markwaregr

    You don’t see any GutenBee gallery blocks on that page because there aren’t any. The gallery blocks you see are Gutenberg blocks. It’s those blocks I’d like to replace with GutenBee blocks, but I don’t see a simple way to do that as the GutenBee gallery block is not on option when I ?click on the icon on the left hand and select ‘transform to’.

    Hi there, @vseynaeve

    Yes there is no option for this, while I am not certain if you can convert native WordPress blocks to plugin ones
