• Hello,

When I try to replace a file, and either his file name, by a file with a dot in his name (for exemple DOC.2020.04.05.jpeg), I’ve got an error: “le site rencontre des difficultés techniques. Veuillez relever la boite mail du site pour obtenir des instructions”
We’ve got a problème with the administrator mail, and we don’t receive any mail from the site, so I can’t see the instructions this message is talking about.

I thought about a problème of file extension? The plugin consider that after the first dot he can read the file extension? Coud you have another answer?

    Thanks

The problem don’t occure when I upload the same file name in th media library.

    Hi @tmaintranet,

Can you please send us the file you are talking about so we can try to reproduce the error? If you don’t want to make it here public, you can send us an email here (make sure to mention this conversation, though).

    Thank you!

I tested this issue with the basic image collection of my computer, by adding .1.2.3 between the name of the file and the.jpeg

I tested with the same image before and after changing the name.

Without the dot in the file name, everything is ok.

When I add .1.2.3 an issue occured.

The customer that report me this issue had the same problem with his file, and he had to rename it.

I send you an image by email if you need an exemple.

    thank you.
