Hi – I was wondering if the following would be possible:

When a users clicks “submit” on a poll, it usually closes and a “thank you for submitting”-text will appear, but, is it possible for a new poll to replace the old one, when the old one gets submitted? I hope it makes sense

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Dear @chrillegrn,

    Thank you for the topic.

I want to mention, that the plugin has the?Poll?Categories?shortcode available for usage.?
In order to find this shortcode, you can go to the?Poll?Maker?plugin?> General Settings page > Shortcodes tab?and?copy the shortcode.?
You can paste the shortcode into any of your posts to show all/random polls from the given category by list/grid view.

    See the screenshot below:

You can check out the?following Demo to see what this will look like on the Front-end.
The?Demo?“How would you rate our App?”:?https://poll-plugin.com/wordpress-poll-plugin-pro-demo/

By the way, as the shortcode is available only in the Pro version of the plugin, please contact us via this form for premium support. Our customer care specialists will always be happy to help you.

Commercial products are not supported in these forums.

    Thank you.

Hi – thanks for the reply.

So these categori shortcodes can generate a new poll from the same categori, when the user has clicked “submit”?

    Dear @chrillegrn,

    Thank you for your reply.

    Please let me explain this.
You need to set the ID of your desired category for the shortcode.
Then, specify the count of the polls you want to display for that category.
By this, that amount of polls will be displayed and you can pass them one by one.

I want to mention, that the polls are not generated. You just create the polls and they are displayed after one another on the Front-end.

    Thank you.

Hi @hyenokian thank you for your continued help!

So what I’m specifically asking is: When a user clicks “submit” on a poll, does it then show another poll of the same category (one i’ve made myself)?

So it shows only one poll, and then a new one appears after the old one is submitted?

    Sincerely, Christopher

    Dear @chrillegrn,

    Thank you for your reply.

I am sorry for the misunderstanding my previous answers can cause you.
Actually, we were referring to another shortcode by mistake.

In order to achieve your desired result and display your created polls of the same category after one another with the Next button on the Front-end, please do the following.

Head to the Poll Categories page and copy the shortcode of your desired category.
Then, paste it to your desired post/page.

    See the screenshots below:

By this, you can vote for one poll, then, pass to the next one.

    Thank you.

Hi @hyenokian – Thank you for your reply!

Is there a way to *automatically* have the next poll be shown? So users dont have to click the “next”-button?

    Sincerely Christopher

    Dear @chrillegrn,

    Thank you for your reply.

As far as I understand, in your particular case, it would be much more correct to make use of the Quiz Maker plugin, rather than the Poll Maker plugin.

So, you can install the Quiz Maker plugin and test its functionalities for your purpose.

    Thank you.

    Hi @hyenokian, thank you.

We’ll keep the poll maker for now, it’s got the other functionalities we’re looking for right now. However, another issue occoured when i tried to show a category using a shortcode, but I’ll make another topic for that.
