Replace an image in WordPress

  • Hi,

    I want to replace an image in WordPress. But I don’t want to install a plugin just for this purpose.

    So, what I do is “Permanetly delete” an image, then reupload the new image with the same file name.

    However, in this way, the post where the image is inserted will still show the old image. Why?
