Repeats Tweet process constatntly

Hi ive used twitter tools for some time so that tweets i make whilst working on site from my handheld device or tablet are captured from twitter and posted to my site.

Until yesterday when i upgraded twitter tools and social plugins, the process has worked well but since upgrading the plugins the tool searches twitter captures one or multiple tweets, creates a post on my site then re-tweets the same info to twitter creating a constant loop.

The second time this happens the tweet shows as tweet tweet – title name
the third time – tweet tweet tweet
etc

I have deactivated the plugins in fear of upsetting our twitter community but any help would be useful in getting this set up again.
