Repeating Fields Causing PHP Errors

    Hi,
    I’m just using Pods for a simple setup and when I try to render a repeating field it gives PHP errors as it seems to be processing the repeating field as an array and not as individual entries:

    Warning: strpos() expects parameter 1 to be string, array given in /home/customer/www/**********/public_html/wp-includes/blocks.php on line 801

Warning: preg_match() expects parameter 2 to be string, array given in /home/customer/www/**********/public_html/wp-includes/class-wp-block-parser.php on line 417

Warning: strlen() expects parameter 1 to be string, array given in /home/customer/www/**********/public_html/wp-includes/class-wp-block-parser.php on line 489

    I’m using Hello Elementor and rendering these through Elementor and have no other plugins installed at present and everything is up to date.

    I’d appreciate any pointes or solutions rather than having to edit the plugin files.

    Thanks for the quick reply.

    That’s really disappointing as it’s way easier to change my CPT method, as Pod’s was just a quick experiment, rather than my page builder.

    I genuinely wouldn’t want to, but as I said it was a quick experiment and I have access to OnTheGoSystem’s full Toolset suite, I just wanted to see if I could use Pod’s as a lightweight alternative for a small site so it doesn’t make sense to make things more difficult for the sake of it when I know that solution works.

    6 minutes to learn from examples of how to iterate arrays from relationship fields doesn’t seem like a genuine effort or a thorough experiment. Have fun with the alternative GUIs.

    Wow.

    I know perfectly well how to iterate through arrays thank you very much and have been very polite. I don’t appreciate the catty comments when asking a very basic question over your integrations, which aren’t functioning properly, so why would I spend time putting in more effort than required when I don’t need to.

    It’s not meant to be catty; it’s reading the timer on your response as compared to time required to make a “genuine” effort or communicate about something that involves “difficulty”.
    The time invested reveals something about effort: a preference for what’s comfortable, and an expectation that an unspecified requirement be solved without considering or communicating complexity.

    You posted an error for others to solve without searching first and bailed at the first sign of learning being required. It’s not very polite, and these questions wouldn’t be necessary if you knew how to iterate or searched before posting.
    A conversation doesn’t end just because one concludes with an ultimatum.

    In the future, I’d recommend investing in a search or being curious about learning a new approach.
