Repeatedly pops up regardless of settings

    I have tried configuring this plugin to show up once per day and once per visit on all pages and regardless of what I do it continually pops up on every single visit. I am out of ideas on whether or not it’s something I’m doing wrong. Help?

    Hello there,

    First I want to say we are hard at work on an update to address our targeting rules for Optin Cat, as we have seen issues for some users due to how our cookies are being handled. We’re completely rewriting that portion of the plugin to resolve all these issues.

    That being said it could still be something on your end. Mainly with cookies, the only way the forms know if a user has seen them before or not is by placing a cookie. If you are blocking these cookies on your machine, then the popups will always appear, as to them it looks like you’ve never seen it. If you’re not sure if you’re blocking cookies, try on another machine and see if the issue persists.

    If that’s not the source of your issue, we plan on releasing Optin Cat 2.0 within the week hopefully, which should address these issues.

    Hey There,

    Just dropped by to say Optin Cat 2.0 has just been released, and includes a complete rewrite of the targeting software that should resolve any previous issues, particularly with the frequency rules.

    Let us know if you have any further problems, or suggestions.
