• Hi, I’m looking to resolve some performance issues with a wordpress install whereby the MySQL 5 db, which is doing nothing else, goes crazy, taking 100% CPU and pushing system load up so far that the box grinds to a halt. The system is a mediatemple nitro server with 3GB of RAM, plenty of CPU and nothing else running on it, the issue only appears intermittently.

I’ve used mtop to analyse the active mysql queries and have taken a screenshot

I’ve run through the standard MySQL tuning options, query_cache, connections, etc etc, could someone please take a look at this and give me their opinion

    Thanks

    R
