Repairing my WordPress

  • I got the following message after trying to repair my WordPress database and it said to post here for additional assistance. Can anyone help me out?

    em_comments: 1 client is using or hasn’t closed the table properly
    em_options: Table is marked as crashed

  • Try:
    – switching to the default theme by renaming your current theme’s folder inside wp-content/themes and adding “-old” to the end of the folder name using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin.

    – then, finally, try running a database repair again.
