Reordering in the admin page doesn’t have any effect

    Hello. Latest version of WordPress and plugin(1.9.3). I have Auto Sort, Admin Sort, Archive Drag&Drop and Next / Previous Apply activated in the settings and no caching plugins activated. When I reorder on the actual post admim page there is no change as when refreshing the admin page the ordering does not change. It only works when I select Re-Order from the left, then this reordering works fine. If that’s the case I really don’t undestand why there is functionality to reorder within the admin page if that reordering is actually not working.

    Hello,
    This should work fine, most probably there’s a glitch with another plugin, as it supposed to be archive interface (all posts) probably there’s a mix.
    Can you try to disable other plugins to find out the one causing the conflict? Then i’ll try to debug on our environment.

    It’s really strange. I do a reorder then refresh the front end and it doesn’t work. Then I refresh once more and it works. Then it works for a while and stops working again. Could it be my localhost apache server misbehaving or something? Why would it do a thing like that? I will also try deactivating plugins and let you know. It’s just seems unstable.

    It should be a cache issue.

    No, I am clearing the cache too, don’t think it’s this one(it would also suck for the user if every time there was a reordering that he/she would have to clear the cache!). I just realised that it’s happening to posts that have the same publish date though.

    But it should be consistent and not change once your reloaded the page. Does something changes on database during page reload?
