Reorder images not working

Hi,
I’m brand new to wordpress and plugins. I downloaded the reorder plug in tonight but it’s not working. It shows up at the bottom of my post as I’m editing and I can drag and drop the list of photos (they are numbered) there at the bottom, but it doesn’t do anything to change the way the photos are actually ordered in the body of my post….even after I have saved it as a draft. What am I doing wrong?
