Is there a way to save the re-ordered columns?

This is my first use of this plugin
I reordered the columns, pressed SAVE SETTINGS.

When I came back into Export Orders, the order was not preserved.

What am I doing wrong? Thanks

    Hello

This is one of main features, so there is an error in backend or in js

    1. Do you see results when you press Preview ?

    2. Could you don’t do anything , press Preview and check js errors?

    thanks,Alex

    Alex,
    Thanks for your reply…

    I SOLVED THIS PROBLEM — WHAT I DID – – ->
Went to WooCommerce –> Export Orders expanded ‘Setup fields to export’
    A) Set desired column sequence (by dragging desired field to desired position).
    B) Then I selected a check-box, toggling it OFF (works with ANY check-box).
    C) Then I pressed “Save Settings”
    D) Pressed Preview, then Export

RESULTS (1) My export field sequence was saved (AND matched preview); and (2) the check-box setting was saved (hopefully obvious).

    Thank you …
    Bob

FOR YOUR INFORMATION .. Answers to you quesions
    1) Do you see results when you press Preview?
Answer: Yes. Not only that the EXPORTed report is in the correct column sequence.
    2) Could you don’t do anything, press Preview and “check js errors”?
Answer: I’m in Chrome (did Ctrl + Shift + J). I did not find any option to ‘check js errors’. I’m not an expert … poked around including ‘Audits’ didn’t notice anything.

    hi Bob

I can’t reproduce this bug still.
    B) Then I selected a check-box, toggling it OFF (works with ANY check-box).
    — did you do it for each required field? if checkbox is OFF, Preview mustn’t export it .

Yes, you can upgrade to 3.09
    thanks, Alex

    Hi Alex,
    Thanks for your reply.

No, I didn’t have to do it with each required field. Just making ANY (unrelated) type of change causes the ‘Save Settings’ to work correctly.

I could have toggled any box, it wouldn’t matter. Just any other type of change appears to make ‘Save Settings’ save the reorder columns (and of course the unrelated check box change too).

And yes, if a check box is off, the field is not exported or on the Preview.

I will run another test (or two) to confirm.
    Regards & thanks,
    Bob

    hi Bob

Do you use any caching plugins?

Could you try another browser ?

    thank you for collaboration!

    Alex,

I am stumped. I cannot re-create this problem. I was able to do so yesterday.

Ths only thing I can think of is that when I checked my version of Chrome, it wasn’t the latest. When checking the version of Chrome, if it’s NOT the latest, the latest version is installed by google/chrome. Maybe that was it. Chrome version upcate, caching change?? I don’t know.

I apologize for sending you on this “chase”.

(I will now update to WooCommerce 3.09)

    Thank you for your patience.

    Regards,
    Bob
