Reopening WordPress on local server after closing it

I am running WordPress locally on my Mac, and in the process of building my first website. I just restart my computer because of a system update and now when I try to get back to my WordPress site using https://127.0.0.1:8080/wordpress/ it says that I cannot connect to the server? Did I do something wrong, because i can still find the WordPress files that are downloaded to my computer, I just am not sure how to open up WordPress so that I can continue working.
