Rental & Robust Inventory System Search

This is not so much a help question. We use Woocommerce for some things. Recently, we have started working with a rental product set.

The rental extension looks very good for what we are looking for.

But I had some questions on the backend management of rental items.

We have about 80 or so products and the inventory is always growing.

We need to be able to document & report internally / backend the location of these items. They are all individually unique.

So, have an inventory list and report that shows the item:

• Thumbnail Image
• Name
• Size
• Type
• Description
• Warehouse (we have 8 warehouses and would like to identify where the specific unique item currently is – sometimes they are moved)
• Exact location within the warehouse

I am fairly sure that most of the above is possible with the rental plugin for Woocommerce except for the location information in the inventory side and ability to use the backend of the website as an inventory management system moving these items around and reporting current location and availability.

When rented; it would be great if it could use customer info to populate the location data; but we can manually do that during the order process.
