Thank you for contacting WooCommerce support. I understand you are having trouble with the manual renewal subscription process.
It sounds like you have enabled the manual renewal option in WooCommerce > Settings > Subscriptions, but when a customer tries to pay for a renewal order, they are redirected to the cart page and a new subscription is created instead of renewing the existing one.
This could be caused by a conflict with another plugin that is interfering with the renewal process. To troubleshoot this, please follow these steps:
- Deactivate all plugins except for WooCommerce and WooCommerce Subscriptions.
- Test the renewal process again and see if the issue persists.
- If the issue is resolved, then reactivate your plugins one by one, testing the renewal process after each activation, until you find the one that is causing the conflict.
- If the issue is still present, then please share with us the System Status Report which you can find via
WooCommerce > Status > Get system report > Copy for support
