Renew membership

I use the plugin to manage access to software download pages. We sell our software with payment on invoice. When a customer buys software, they get free updates for X years. if they sign a service contract, they should be renewed.

Any progress on the possibility to renew members mentioned in the case below?

I guess I can manage it by deleting and adding the user bac – is this the best workaround?
