    Hi Greg,

We aren’t charging for listings on most of our sites. I’m sure I’ve seen the ability on the front end for users to renew their adverts once expired in the past, however I can’t find that open for them just now when someone asked, and I can find where to turn this on/off in the Dashboard settings for them either.

Is it possible for people to renew their own free ads or am I remembering wrong?

I can see a clock with an arrow in the front end manager next to the date but this doesn’t do anything and them editing their expired ad does nothing either.

We have the Pro Plus WPAdverts plan, so have access to all add-ons if I need to set it in one of those.

    Thanks,

    Andy

    Hi,

it is possible to renew free ads, this option will show in the page with Classifieds Manage block or [adverts_manage] shortcode if you have at least one renewal option configured.

That is you will need to enable the Payments module in the wp-admin / Options panel and create or configure there one (or more) renewal option. You will also need one (free) new Ad posting pricing otherwise the users will not be able to publish new ads.

    Hi Greg,

That’s perfect thanks. We did charge for some listing in the past but stopped so I disabled the Payments part, which is why I had seen it in the past but couldn’t now.

I have enabled this and everything is working as expected again.

    Many Thanks,

    Andy

I have another problem connected to this. “More” button in manage_listings disappear after page load end. I do not know why, tried disable all custom CSS, JS or minification, tried also plugin conflict test. Without success. In place where should be MORE button appears only “Mark as sold”. This is only button which works on right side.
