  • Frits,

Thank you for your email. Actually, I think the problem is with your Theme which has a small incompatibility with WP 4.5.

In IE10 developer tools, I see this error:
SCRIPT5022: Syntax error, unrecognized expression: [href=#]

Usually, that means you need to upgrade to the latest version of your Theme or ask the developer for an update. It’s possible the problem is with another plugin instead, but usually it is the theme.

Please email me if you have any follow-up: [email protected]

    Regards,

    Dan

    Hi Dan,

Thanks for your quick reply. In the mean time we did some extra tests and found a solution in the browser. After I deleted browser history, cookies and cache, restarted the browser and refreshed the site and plug-in are working fine. Some members of our club experienced the same problem, so we have make a remark on the webpage with the solution.

    Kind regards,
    Frits Weener

    Frits,

It is likely that you did need an upgrade to the Theme, but that some browsers were still caching the old version of the Theme’s Javascript files. Clearing the caches will have ensured all users are on the latest version now.

You shouldn’t need the remark on your webpage for long – new visitors will pick up the latest Theme files anyway, and previous users’ caches will expire soon.

    Thanks,

    Dan
