Rendered image size always the same

Hi!

I’m trying to fix the size of my image. I’ve uploaded a picture and tried to alter the size by changing the size and changing the measurements, but no matter what I do the rendered image always comes out as HUGE.

When I inspect the page I can see that the rendered image is much bigger than what I’ve selected.

Whenever I google the issue all I come up with is thumbnail size changes, but my size is always the same no matter what. I tried reloading the thumbnails.. but then ALL pictures on the website got bigger!

I could do with a bit of help before my brain explodes… ??
