Render the category dropdown in hierarchy of their parent and sub categories.

    I am using forminator plugin to create a form using custom taxonomies and custom post types built using CPT and ACF fields. The form is working well for other fields except for the categories dropdown. Currently the custom taxonomies are shown in alphabetical ascending order but not in parent- sub categories. I want the taxonomies in dropdown as parent category and under that sub category associated with each parent category. I hope I was able to explain it properly.

    Hi @bharmalmohammed,

    I’m afraid, such a workflow isn’t supported at the moment. The plugin will be displaying all the categories ie parent and sub-categories within one “Category” dropdown.

    We do have plans to improve this down the roadmap to display categories in hierarchal order. ’ll make sure to bring your feedback to our team’s attention so that they are aware of your feedback regarding these.
