• I have a paid framework and child theme (Catalyst/Dynamik) and I’m having a heckuva time trying to come up with my own custom theme name (that is, I want to change ‘catalyst’ to ‘occupyhln’ …

I’ve tried to change the name via FTP and via the Plesk File Manager, but no luck….

Any guidance in this regard would be greatly appreciated!

Which one is the child and which one is the parent? Renaming the child portion should be straight forward but renaming the parent can/may break that theme.

Go to style.css of your theme folder and rename the “Theme Name”.

Hi Jan. Catalyst if the Framework and Dynamik is the child theme.

I just wanted to be able to name the theme in a custom way, like I see when I view the source of other WordPress themes.

I did try renaming Catalyst to occupyhln and that broke everything.

I suppose this isn’t possible with my setup?

It is possible but try renaming the child theme instead. Give it a new name and directory.
