Renaming the Shop Page in WooCommerce

    I am trying to rename the title of my ‘Shop’ page to ‘Catalog’ I’ve renamed the page in the Pages area but the Page still says ‘Shop’ I’ve seen many articles stating you can add a function in the child theme’s functions.php but these solutions don’t work, I’ve tried about 8 different permutations. The solutions I’ve found are also older 2 years or so, and don’t see any newer solutinos that may address how the newer version of WP and Woo may handle the Cart title in the templates/patterns/ etc. The page path in the URL has changed to ‘catalog’, the page entry in the breadcrumbs says ‘Catalog’ but the page title is still ‘Shop’.

    Woocommerce: 8.6.1
    WordPress: 6.4.3
    Theme: Twenty Twenty-Four

    I’ve tested the code snippet shared here, and everything seems to work great on my test site. Would you mind giving it a go to see if it works for you too?

    Please make sure to add this code snippet to your child theme’s functions.php file.

    @shameemreza I tried that snippet in my functions and still only see ‘Shop’ as the title:

    Hi @bigshifter,

    I tested using the Storefront theme, not the Twenty Twenty-four theme.

    However, that code snippet might not work with block-based themes like Twenty Twenty-four. If you want to change it on a block-based theme, you’ll probably need to tweak the product archive page template in the Site Editor.
