    Hi @flaviazuddas,
the plugin renames images and thumbnails, but in some case the old files are not deleted, I’m working on a fix for this issue.

Please check if this is the case for you: the thumbnails are not renamed or there are both old and new thumbnails?

    Thank you for reporting.

    Hi @crossi72
yes, sorry, also thumbnails are renamed, but there are both old and new thumbnails and WordPress just consider the old ones.

    So, for instance:
    old original image: image.jpg
    new original image renamed: image_new.jpg
    old thumbnail image: image-300×300.jpg
    new thumbnail image: image_new-300×300.jpg

In frontend for all thumbnails I see only image-300×300.jpg, image-450×300.jpg and so on. If I delete from FTP image-300×300.jpg the image in the thumbnail version is no longer visible in frontend.
It seems that WordPress doesn’t realize that the thumbnails have been renamed and there are new versions of these.

    Thank you for support

    Hi @flaviazuddas,
I just released version 3.4.5 that address a minor issue in file deletion, can you try it and tell me if your issue is still present?
