Renamed installation folder – site no longer works

  • Deactivate all plugins by renaming plugins to old_plugins and see if the site at /blog/ comes up.

    thanks for the suggestion. i just checked in on the site and it seems to be working now. maybe the server needed some time to resolve the new folder name?

    in any case, now i’m seeing an issue regarding relative links, i.e., all the image links are not working as they are still referencing the former “wordpress” folder.

    back to the forums to see if this new problem can be solved!

    A folder name change isn’t retroactive in any way; Search RegEx is a good plugin to be able to search and replace with Grep through all posts and pages.
