Rename other shortcodes with this shortcode

    Hi,
    I have another plugin that gives its own shortcode but does not have its shortcode in the editor. How can I use this plugin to rename that shortcode so that I can use in the editor?

    Hi @rphrus,

    I believe you have a shortcode like [othershortcode] and want to use it shortcoder like [sc name="myshortcode"] right ?

    In that case you can simply create a new shortcode in shortcoder and paste the other shortcode as shortcode content.

    I have this shortcode from another plugin [speaker-mute] … [/speaker-mute]. So if I create using shortcoder would it be like [sc name=”myshortcode”] and close this shortcode with [/sc name=”myshortcode”], so it will be like [sc name=”myshortcode”]content here[/sc name=”myshortcode”]?

    You can create a shortcode with content [speaker-mute] … [/speaker-mute].

    Then you can simply just use [sc name="myshortcode"] no need to close the shortcode.
