    Hello,

I’d appreciate a lot if anyone would have any ideas on how to upload new images with the product’s title name via woocommerce API? eg: 123489558.jpg change into nice-dress-blue.jpg

I’ve tried to research but did not find a way to upload or change image’s filename via API or automatically.

The only way I found would be through a wordpress plugin, which in my POV it is not good, since I would have to manually run the plugin and change filenames every time I upload new images (which are done automatically via script).

This is a fairly complex development topic. I’m going to leave it open for a bit to see if anyone is able to chime in to help you out.

I can also recommend <a href="https://developer.woocommerce.com/" rel="noopener" target="_blank">the WooCommerce Developer Resources Portal</a> for resources on developing for WooCommerce.

You can also visit the <a href="https://www.facebook.com/groups/advanced.woocommerce/" rel="noopener" target="_blank">WooCommerce Facebook group</a> or the <code>#developers</code> channel of the <a href="https://woocommerce.com/community-slack/" rel="noopener" target="_blank">WooCommerce Community Slack</a>. We're lucky to have a great community of open-source developers for WooCommerce, and many of our developers hang out there, as well.

Meanwhile, you could also check this stack overflow: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/29646900/how-to-add-product-image-via-the-woocommerce-rest-api

This thread has been inactive for a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.
